Where is a good place to go camping in Southern California, over Christmas? - tent trailer ideas
I have a pop-up tent trailer. I am in Los Angeles and looking for a good place to spend over 100 miles. Primitivo is good. Do not worry about the cold. Probably the game of Joshua Tree, but wonder if anyone has other good ideas. Thank you!

Joshua Tree is very soft this time of year. Would you havn't, but it deserves a visit.

This link can also get information on Idyllwild, San Bernardino National Forest Lake Hemet. I spent some black rock climbing and bouldering and Hemet. The survey provides a pleasant break from the desert.

The Anza Borrego Desert San Diego County is a great place to go in the winter ends in the 70s, perfect weather for camping. You should try areas such as Idyllwild or Big Bear Mountain avoided, as many campsites are closed in winter. Anza is the best. There are places, even if you just leave the streets and their camp early and avoid paying any tax. The dessert is great in winter.
Have you seen The Hills Have Eyes? LOL!
Doheny State Beach, a chapter of my cooking club meets every year in January for a weekend with good food, friends and fun.
