Will my IBM NetVista 6266 accept 2 512MB dimms? How about high-density ram? - can you use 256x2 ram

I have a NetVista 6266, I bought some work on a workstation for the house to update. IBM says that the maximum RAM 256x2 = 512, also for what I need very little.
Is the machine to accept 2 DIMMs 512 and be able to access the total amount of RAM?
Will they be able to use high density RAM?
